Power has many meanings, most of which imply a capacity for control or force. This willing for control that people have, has caused a huge ammount of civil wars, protests, discussions and others. The persuit for power doesn’t take limits. To aim their objective people act irrationaly, cruelly, and sometimes may cause death. The government is a power, but it is the minority in relation of the population. If the population decides to rebel, the government will fall. The way that the government found to control the mass and keep the power was manage the media. The media rules people’s life, thoughts, and desires. Blindly, people think that they are the ones that have the power of think and decide by themselves but in reality the government thought the media is the one controling us. To give a better idea, lets say: when we talk about coffe what comes to our minds is starbucks, when we talk about hamburger, burger king or mcdonalds comes to our minds; but why not think about cuban coffe, or a delicious home made hamburger? Because uncounciously media makes us think that the tastest ones are starbucks and burger king, the other ones are just…other ones that are not so much tasty and delicious and desired. Who told that the skin body is the perfect one? Media did it, and people struggle themselves in diets to have this “ideal” body. Besides marketing, in politics media is the responsible for the results in elections, in the information that we get and everything else. In a campain politics rise the employment in the last few years of mandate in orther to population think that he has controled the country pretty good. The secret information only let us know what may be favorable to the politics. Even in education the government is manipulatin people, so they have an education where they learn to think less and that way be more vunerable. Everything is made with a certain intention, nothing is given for free; not here, not in Brazil, not in Africa, not in China or wherever place. Everythong is manipulated and the population is more and more ilusionated about it.

Blog 1
Think about, break into pieces, examine, question and analyze my experiences are not part of my daily actions, even though I’m willing to be a business person; what implies that these should be my regular behavior. In ENC 1102 I hope to get used to do it. For my first questioning and analyzing moment, I will talk about some blogs that I already had.
My very first blog wasn't properly a blog. It was a photoblog. There I used to post pictures where I was surrounded by friends or by other things that were important to me, such as my horse. The posts were daily. I used to spend hours selecting the "perfect picture" and thinking about a good caption for it. I treated my photoblog as more than an application for fun; it was my basal metabolic activities. Well, it was like this for 2 years, and then I started with a relationship so I couldn't spend so much time on it. The solution was deleting it. I felt really bad. It was like deleting my life. The pictures there were pictures of good moments of my life. It was basically an autobiography book made of photos. All gone = (.
My second experience with blogs was on my ENC 1101 class. My professor decided to use the blog as our journal, so instead write in a notebook, we had to write in our blogs. In my opinion it was a great idea. The young spend hours on internet, and hate do homework. The online journal was a fun way to do homework without realizing that we were actually doing homework. The things that we should write were pleasant too. Most of the posts were self reflective. Another good point about the blog is that through it people can re-learn how to properly write. It's common on internet people write in slang such as wazup, ttyl and other. In the blog you have to write in a properly way, so all your reader can understand it, and most important, you will be graded for it, so the writing must b perfect.
Blogs are pretty good in my opinion. I had good experiences with them, and somehow they brought something good to my life. Hopefully i will keep one in the future =).
